I Am Buying A Home Can I Keep The Sellers Washer And Dryer

Is the washer and dryer included as part of the sale when you purchase a home?  No it is not.  Unless, it is documented as part of the purchase in the contract, it will not convey to the buyer.


Realtors should add the Non-Realty Items Addendum (TAR 1924 or TREC  OP-M) as part of the contract when buyers are requesting the seller to leave household items that are not permanently attached to the home. Examples of such Items are refrigerators, washer and dryers, mirrors, televisions, etc..  These items should be listed on the Non-Realty Items Addendum and the value can be negotiated by your realtor.
